Artist's Comments
These were all created for a Cultural Identity brief where i wanted to show a different side to the elderly generation.
The pictures were taken using a Canon 20D, 24mm lens and a canon speedflash. The flash was pointed towards a low white ceiling bouncing off and behind my Gran to light up the A1 piece of card used as a back drop. The light was then reflected up and under m Gran's face by a piece of card held either by my Gran or dad (sometimes both). I then edited some levels and curves in Photoshop and voila, a studio quality series of photographs in my own home in under 20 minutes. Thanks for looking and commenting. |
