Sorry for the watermark but i see it as the only way to try and put a stop to people stealing my work.
First off, I own the license for this series of images. Do not take them without permission or think that giving me credit after you have taken them somehow lets you off the hook. Its theft, plain and simple.
Now to put these images into context.
They were all created for a Cultural Identity brief where i wanted to show a different side to the elderly generation. Nothing more, nothing less.
The pictures were taken using a Canon 20D, 24mm lens and a canon speedflash. The flash was pointed towards a low white ceiling bouncing off and behind my Gran to light up the A1 piece of card used as a back drop. The light was then reflected up and under m Gran's face by a piece of card held either by my Gran or dad (sometimes both). I then edited some levels and curves in Photoshop and voila, a studio quality series of photographs in my own home in under 20 minutes.
